Mission - Culture Research & Exploration [Threat Level: Low]

Two parts.

1. a)Choose a culture (could be real/fantastic, from past, present, or future. -- the one caveat is it needs to "exist" in the sense that there is literature written about such culture)  b) then begin researching this culture. c) Create an annotated bibliography of the references that you like and would be useful for you. (Annotated bib - just make a list of the sources and write a small blurb about what you like/what the main take away you got from the source was. Sources can be books, articles, reputable websites, images, songs, etc.)
Part 1 is due Next Saturday 9/14 at midnight (or whenever you get it done.)

Part 2 - Using what you learned from part 1, begin writing about this culture. Either: write as though an inhabitant of this culture were providing Eden a tour of three of the main features of this culture (locations, festivals, stores/restaurants, etc) -and- at least one "special" place/thing to the character. When writing from the perspective of this inhabitant, incorporate details of the culture into the character's interactions with their surroundings and Eden. -OR- write as though Eden is exploring this culture on his own and he is finding major landmarks/locations/events. In detail, write about three main places/things/events of this culture -and- write about one "special" place/thing that Eden really finds solace in that culture. Incorporate cultural details as Eden interacts with the places/things/events/people.

Required length: each place/event/thing should be 1/2 a page or at least 2 paragraphs.  So for either choice, write a minimum of 2 pages or 8 paragraphs.

Part 2 is due one week after Part 1 is submitted.

To maintain a record in this Task chain: Part 1 was submitted Saturday 9/7.

Part 2 due 9/15.
