Reporter Interview #1
Questions for any character:
Questions for Kiran:
- Do you believe the Shift exists?
- What do you think the Shift is like?
- How have these monsters impacted your life?
- When do you think this war with these monsters will end?
- Do you have any hope that the rifts will close up? (Follow up question if the answer is, 'yes:' What gives you hope?)
- Do you have faith that the synthetics will get life back to normal?
Questions for Kiran:
- How has your relationship with Eden changed since he has been in his new synth body?
- What do you think would be different if you were transferred to the synthetic body instead of him?

Re: Reporter Interview #1
Joan Dahl
Adjusting an already-loose collar, she flashes a thin smile towards the reporter. "Lort, of course not. The feasibility of such a thing from the perspective of known and theoretical science does nothing to support it. The likelihood of our planet being consumed by a black hole within minutes attains a greater probability than... than Fjollede fantasier." Waving a hand dismissively a subtle frown begins pulling at the corners of her mouth. "Fantasy."
Ada Järvi
Clearing her throat, Ada casts a brief glance towards Joan before returning her full attention to the reporter. "I believe what my colleague means to say is that while it is scientifically unsound with regard to known science, it is most certainly extant within the realm of the theoretical! Imagine. We know that there is an observable space between atoms. Or on a more broad and understandable scale, between what it feels like we are touching." Pressing her hands tightly together, she gives a small and shy grin. "In truth, we are never truly in contact with anything. There is this thin... huntu, iho... Skin? Veil? Between them. One we cannot perceive with our eye, but that is easily observed if from a high, eh, magnification."
Joan Dahl
Barely refraining from pinching the bridge of her nose, she mutters under her breath. "Die de idioot loslieten?" Then louder, "We may be able to observe this difference, but that does nothing for the realiteit--"
Ada Järvi
"I beg to differ, kollegani. There is a very clear and sound backing for the research into this fantastic new territory that you have seen yourself. Obviously you refuse to look beyond your self-contained view of our reality and your... your..." Waving a hand, her mouth pulls into a taut line as she fails to find the appropriate phrase. "Alasti puolueellisuus--"
A soft cough in the background cuts through the bickering before it can gain any further traction. With an expression walking the fine line between professional interest and disappointment, Kiran waves for both of them to leave the studio.

Reyes Martel
Intertwining their fingers and cradling their chin with their knuckles, they peer intently at the reporter for several beats. "Why would you wonder what we think of the unknown, when we are unable to even prove our existence?"
Slowly tilting their head, their lips twitch into some semblance of a grin that doesn't reach their eyes. "Do you know something we do not?"
A pause follows the question, seconds ticking by before the period of silence begins to bleed into minutes. Retaining their static position with their body pressed tightly against the table, the one thing keeping the two apart, they keep their gaze trained on the reporter.
Not once do they break visual contact.
